    • A private, nonprofit transportation company certified by the PA Public Utility Commission to provide demand responsive service to the general public and provides some transportation needs of various human service agencies.

 

  • Senior Shared Rides Program

    • The Senior Shared Ride Program is a reduced fare transportation program available to riders who are willing to share their trip with other passengers. Persons 65 years of age or older are entitled to receive these trips and pay only 15% of the reduced shared ride fares.

 

  • Rural Transportation for Persons with Disabilities (PwD) Project

    • Community Transit is providing Shared-ride Transportation Service to People with Disabilities. Shared-ride paratransit service is available to individuals with a disability, who do not have another source of transportation, at reduced fares.

  • Medical Assistance Transportation Program

    • Program offers transportation or mileage reimbursement for medical care or services from a Medical Assistance provider.

    • MATP services can be used to go to medical appointments or any service Medical Assistance pays for. These medical services include therapies, tests, dental visits, trips to the pharmacy to get prescriptions, mental health treatment, drug and alcohol treatment, and trips to medical equipment suppliers.

  • SEPTA Customized Community Transportation

    • This service provides trips to customers registered with SEPTA on a space-available basis. This service is provided door-to-door by advance reservations, with limited driver assistance. SEPTA provides this service to individuals who are functionally unable to use regular fixed route transportation for some or all of their mobility needs. Eligible individuals can travel whenever and wherever SEPTA's fixed route transportation operates.
